Oskaras Koršunovas (1969) is one of the most renowned Lithuanian theatre directors internationally beside Eimuntas Nekrošius, called the star of Lithuanian new directing, as well as one of the leaders of European new directing. In 2006 he received the prestigious European Prize of New Theatrical Realities (which went to Alvis Hermanis on 2007), and in 2010 he got the Meyerhold Award in Moscow.
